Samuel Smith Nut Brown Ale Beer 550 ml - Single Bottle

This ale is from the United Kingdom, specifically Yorkshire, England. Samuel Smith Old Brewery is one of the oldest independent breweries in Britain, established in 1758. It is known for its traditional brewing methods, including using the original yeast strain since 1900 and brewing water from its own deep well. The brewery is one of the few in the world to still own and operate its own coopers, ensuring the perfect maintenance of its oak casks for maturation.

Beer Description

Samuel Smith's Nut Brown Ale pours a deep, lustrous copper-brown colour with ruby highlights. The aroma is rich and complex, offering distinct notes of hazelnut, almond, and cocoa, backed by a subtle earthy hop character. On the palate, the beer is smooth and well-balanced, delivering flavours of toasted nuts, caramel, and a gentle roasted malt sweetness. It has a medium body and a soft, velvety mouthfeel, which leads to a clean, nutty finish with a slight, balancing bitterness. This ale is styled as an authentic English Brown Ale, showcasing a masterful balance between malt complexity and traditional character. The ABV is typically 5.0%.
