The 2019 San Guglielmo Brunello di Montalcino presents a brilliant, intense ruby red color in the glass with luminous garnet reflections shimmering at the rim. Its sensory profile is remarkably pure, elegant, and high-toned, opening with a beautifully traditional and multi-faceted bouquet of violets, fresh iris blossoms, and wild red berries, layered with delicate undertones of sweet spices, cedar shavings, and small red fruits preserved sotto spirito (in alcohol). On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied, linear, and meticulously focused, showcasing an incredibly sincere, fruit-forward core of sour red cherries, mandarin juice, and under-ripe wild strawberries. It is characterized by its outstanding acid-to-tannin balance and an incisive backbone of vertical freshness. The mouthfeel is sleek and relaxed rather than over-extracted, driven by fine-grained, grainy tannins that glide effortlessly into a clean, well-balanced finish highlighted by an invitingly dry fruit presence and savory spice tones.

This authentic, dry red expression is crafted entirely from 100% Sangiovese (specifically selected clones of Sangiovese Grosso).
