This 100% Chardonnay originates from Chile, specifically from the coastal Limarí Valley. The Santa Rita Floresta Chardonnay presents as a bright yellow wine with elegant, austere, and dry characteristics. The nose is dominated by white fruit and floral notes, specifically white peach and pear, accented by a distinct touch of stony minerality. On the palate, the wine offers a creamy texture that is expertly balanced by a vibrant, saline energy derived from the region's limestone soils. Its complex sensory profile includes notes of sweet lime, pineapple, and hazelnut, concluding with a long finish marked by honey and sea salt.
