Schild Estate Shiraz 2022

Nestled in the heart of the Barossa Valley, Schild Estate is a family-owned winery with deep roots in Australian viticulture. Founded by Ben and Alma Schild in 1952 and now guided by second- and third-generation family members, the estate is known for its commitment to traditional techniques and meticulous vineyard care. Schild Estate’s holdings include some of the oldest Shiraz vines in the region, offering wines of exceptional concentration and character.

A deep, inky purple in the glass, the 2022 Shiraz showcases an expressive nose of ripe blackberry, dark cherry, and plum compote, interwoven with notes of mocha, cracked pepper, and warm spice. On the palate, it is full-bodied and plush, with velvety tannins and a core of dark fruit balanced by hints of vanilla and toasted oak. A long, smooth finish carries echoes of spice and earth, offering both power and finesse.
