Schramsberg Blanc De Noirs 2019
Product description
This rich, medium-bodied brut sparkling wine is made mostly from Pinot Noir. In 1967, Schramsberg Vineyards introduced the Blanc de Noirs style to the United States, creating the first such sparkling wine in the country. Our sourcing of pinot noir grapes from a wide range of cool-climate vineyards is important to crafting this Blanc de Noirs. Pinot Noir from the Carneros and Anderson Valleys is blended with fruit from low-yielding Sonoma and Marin coast vineyards to create a sparkling wine with a wide range of fruity aromas and flavours. The blend's freshness and backbone come from select Chardonnay lots.
Schramsberg Vineyards Blanc de Noirs is particularly well-suited to serve with a variety of foods, including soft and nutty cheeses, macadamia nut-crusted halibut and pork tenderloin with fresh rosemary and lemon thyme.
