Settlement Wines, founded by winemaker Chris Darling in Marlborough, New Zealand, is committed to producing wines that express the unique terroir of their vineyards. The Heritage Vineyard, established in the early 1990s, is a certified organic site located on the southern side of the Wairau Valley. Its north-facing, flat aspect and free-draining silty clay loams, resulting from historical flooding of the Wairau River, provide an ideal environment for cultivating premium Sauvignon Blanc grapes.
Wine Description
The Heritage Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc showcases a pale straw hue with vibrant aromas of fresh citrus, tropical fruits, and subtle floral notes. On the palate, it offers excellent concentration and refreshing acidity, featuring varietal characters of citrus and stone fruit leading to a long finish.
