Sheringham Raincoast Gin

Sheringham Raincoast Gin originates from Canada, on the West Coast of Vancouver Island in the province of British Columbia. Founded in 2015 in Shirley, British Columbia, Sheringham Distillery was established by Alayne and Jason MacIsaac with a focus on crafting sustainable, small-batch spirits using local botanicals. Today, the distillery operates out of Langford, British Columbia, continuing to capture the spirit of the Pacific Northwest through thoughtful distillation.

Spirit Description

This craft gin presents a crystal clear, pristine appearance in the glass. The aromatic nose opens with bright, inviting notes of fresh citrus zest, piney juniper, and subtle floral elderflower, underpinned by a distinct earthy, forest floor undertone. On the palate, the body is light to medium, smooth, and exceptionally well balanced, delivering crisp flavours of sweet orange peel, soft herbs, and a subtle touch of marine salinity from locally harvested bull kelp. The finish is remarkably clean, dry, and refreshing, leaving a lingering trail of citrus peel and delicate oak spice. This expression is bottled at an alcohol by volume of 43%.
