Product description

Small Gully 'Black Magic' Shiraz is a premium Australian wine hailing from the Barossa Valley in South Australia. Founded in 1999 by grapegrowers Robert Bader and Darren Zimmerman alongside winemaker Stephen Black, the winery is situated in a 'small gully' on Roennfeldt Road in Marananga. The winery’s philosophy focuses on producing bold, intense wines that reflect the distinctive character of their estate-grown fruit through meticulous vineyard management.

Wine Description

This flagship Shiraz presents an opaque, deep purple hue and offers an intense sensory profile. The nose is greeted with lifted aromas of licorice, dark chocolate, ripe blackberries, and dark plums, underpinned by subtle notes of spice. On the palate, the wine is rich and full bodied, displaying depth and complexity with generous fruit-driven flavours and a plush, velvety texture. Balanced acidity and smooth tannins lead into a long, persistent finish.
