This single-varietal white wine hails from Portugal, specifically the Vinho Verde DOC, in the subregion of Monção and Melgaço. Quinta de Soalheiro was established in 1974 by João António Cerdeira and his parents, António Esteves Ferreira and Maria Cerdeira, with the pioneering decision to dedicate an entire, sun-drenched parcel of land to the Alvarinho grape.

The Soalheiro Alvarinho Clássico 2024 displays a bright, lemon-yellow colour. As a single-varietal wine, it is made entirely from Alvarinho grapes. It offers an elegant and fresh fragrance that reveals the variety's aromatic complexity. The palate presents intense tropical and mineral notes that are perfectly balanced by its lively acidity and moderate alcohol content. Stylistically, it is noted for its freshness and elegance, its svelte, textured body, and an unusual ability to evolve in the bottle.
