St Germain Elderflower

This liqueur originates from France. The brand was established in 2007 by third generation distiller Robert Cooper and was later acquired by Bacardi. Inspired by the iconic Saint-Germain-des-Prés quarter of Paris, the spirit is crafted using fresh, handpicked elderflowers harvested once a year in the late spring along the foothills of the French Alps.

This liqueur displays a bright, translucent gold colour with brilliant clarity. The aroma is highly aromatic and floral, dominated by fragrant fresh elderflower, juicy white peach, passion fruit, and pear, accompanied by soft citrus accents. On the palate, it is light to medium bodied with a silky, syrupy texture, delivering vibrant flavours of Meyer lemon, lychee, grapefruit, and subtle tropical fruits balanced by a refreshing fruit acidity that prevents excessive sweetness. The finish is clean, floral, and elegant, leaving behind a lingering note of citrus zest and honeysuckle. Bottled at an ABV of 20%, it offers exceptional freshness and aromatic balance, making it a versatile cocktail staple.
