Introduction

Stiegl Grapefruit Radler originates from Salzburg, Austria. It is produced by the Stieglbrauerei zu Salzburg, an independent, family owned brewery founded in 1492, making it one of Austria's most historic brewing institutions. The brewery has been owned by the Kiener family for more than 120 years and is currently the largest private brewery in Austria, known for blending centuries-old traditions with modern innovation.

Beer Description

This refreshing radler is a blend of Stiegl Goldbräu lager (40%) and natural grapefruit soda (60%), resulting in a beverage that is golden to pale yellow with a natural amber cloudiness. The sensory profile is dominated by a fresh, zesty grapefruit aroma with subtle hints of sweet pale malt. On the palate, it delivers a juicy and tangy fruitiness with a sweet-tart combination that is balanced by the crispness of the beer base. The body is light and effervescent with moderate carbonation, leading to a smooth, clean, and highly refreshing finish. The brew contains real grapefruit juice and is free from artificial sweeteners and colouring. It has a low alcohol content, typically ranging between 2% and 2.5% ABV.
