Tenuta Mazzolino Chardonnay Blanc 2020

Tenuta Mazzolino Chardonnay ‘Blanc’ is produced in Lombardy, within the Oltrepò Pavese hills of northern Italy. The estate, established by Enrico Braggiotti and now managed by his granddaughter Francesca Seralvo, is situated on the famed ‘Pinot Noir hill’ and benefits from clay-loam soils enriched with mineral elements.

Wine Description
Made from 100 per cent Chardonnay, this wine displays a bright, straw-yellow hue with golden tints. Aromas are rich and complex—yellow-fleshed fruits, citrus zest, white floral notes, toasted nuances such as butter, vanilla, and nutty accents. On the palate, it is full, velvety and well-balanced, combining fresh, lively acidity with a pronounced sapidity and a long, persistent finish. 

Food Pairing
This Chardonnay elegantly complements luxurious crustaceans such as lobster, langoustine, or crab, white-fish dishes in delicate sauces, creamy risottos with seasonal vegetables, and semi-aged cheeses. These pairings underscore both the wine’s complexity and its richness.
