Tequila Lopez Blanco is an artisanal spirit produced by the Lopez family, who represent four generations of agave cultivation experience. The brand is rooted in the "El Sabino" estate located in the Highlands (Los Altos) of Jalisco, Mexico—specifically in the town of Jesús María. This region is famous for its high altitude and iron-rich red volcanic soil, which typically produces agaves with higher sugar content and more floral, fruity profiles compared to the earthier Lowland varieties. The Blanco expression is a pure representation of this terroir, bottled without aging to preserve the vibrant essence of the cooked agave.

Spirit Description

This tequila is crystal clear with a bright, silvery luster. On the nose, it offers a clean and intense aroma of sweet cooked agave, complemented by fresh herbal notes and a distinct touch of citrus peel. The palate is fresh and vibrant, delivering flavours of agave honey and mint, which transition into a crisp minerality. A signature characteristic of this Blanco is its peppery finish; it features a notable white pepper heat that lingers alongside a delicate natural sweetness. It is twice distilled in copper stills and typically bottled at 40% ABV (though some Mexican market versions may be 38%).
