Teremana Reposado Tequila is a premium small-batch Mexican spirit produced in the Highlands (Los Altos) of Jalisco, Mexico. Co-founded in 2020 by global icon Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson alongside Dany Garcia, Jenna Fagnan, and Ken Austin, the brand operates under a strategic partnership with Mast-Jägermeister SE. Distilled at Destilería Teremana de Agave (NOM 1613) in Jesús María, the spirit focuses on sustainable, small-batch crafting methods designed to honor traditional tequila-making.

Spirit Description

Teremana Reposado is crafted from 100% estate-grown Blue Weber agaves harvested at peak maturity in the mineral-rich red soil of the Jalisco Highlands. The agaves are slow-roasted in traditional brick ovens for 3 days before being crushed using an open-air roller mill. After open-air fermentation in small tank batches, the liquid is double-distilled in handmade copper pot stills designed by local artisans. The spirit matures in ex-bourbon American white oak barrels to achieve a balance between sweet oak and bright agave.

• Colour: Light gold with luminous pale straw highlights.

• Aroma: Inviting and aromatic, opening with sweet cooked agave, warm vanilla bean, and light oak, complemented by subtle hints of lemongrass, citrus zest, and brown sugar.

• Palate: Smooth, rich, and well-rounded on the entry. Upfront flavors of roasted agave, vanilla custard, and light caramel yield to notes of toasted oak, tropical fruit sweetness, and gentle baking spices.

• Body: Medium-bodied with a soft, clean, and velvety texture that coats the palate cleanly.

• Finish: Crisp, medium-to-long, and warming, closing with trailing notes of sweet vanilla, soft oak spice, and a touch of light pepper.

• ABV: Bottled at 40% (80 Proof).
