Terralsole Trio 2011

This is a full-bodied red blend crafted from Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Syrah. The wine offers ripe flavours of blackberry, plum, and sweet tobacco. Decanting the wine can reveal hints of leather, cocoa, and herbs, adding layers to the palate. The wine features moderate acidity and velvety tannins with a medium-long, satisfying finish. The 'Trio' is a well-balanced, approachable, and elegant SuperTuscan that is enjoyable now but has a moderate aging potential to develop further over the next 8–10 years. The use of Cabernet Franc instead of the more common Cabernet Sauvignon contributes to the wine's round, elegant, and unique profile.
