Produced by Delicato Family Wines, the brand pays tribute to the legendary Gold Rush outlaw Three Finger Jack, who roamed the rugged Sierra Foothills and East Side Ridge of Lodi. The grapes are sourced from select vineyards along the gravelly, well draining soils of Lodi's eastern ridges, where warm, sun-drenched days are balanced by cool breezes sweeping in from the San Joaquin Delta. Under winemaker James Ewart, the winemaking philosophy incorporates extended skin contact, warm temperature controlled fermentation, and maturation in French and American oak barrels for 9 to 12 months. The result is a full throttled, opulent Cabernet Sauvignon that marries rich dark fruit power with smooth, oak-kissed complexity.

Wine Description

The wine presents a deep, opaque dark ruby red colour with intense purple reflections along the rim. An expressive, highly fragrant bouquet opens with noble aromas of ripe dark cherry, wild blackberry preserves, blackcurrant curd, and cassis, interwoven with bold notes of toasted oak, vanilla bean, dark chocolate, espresso, pipe tobacco, and warm baking spice. On the palate, it is full bodied, plush, and mouth-filling, delivering concentrated flavours of dark berries, sweet spice, and subtle mineral earth, all supported by a balanced, refreshing spine of natural acidity. Framed by rich, velvety, fine-grained tannins and a dense, coat-the-mouth mid-palate structure, it concludes with a long, persistent finish marked by lingering black fruit, mocha, and toasted cedar. Composed predominantly of Cabernet Sauvignon blended with small amounts of Petite Sirah and Malbec, it effortlessly combines Lodi fruit generosity, plush oak integration, and muscular crowd-pleasing structure.
