Produced in Italy, within the renowned Tuscany region, Toscolo Chianti Classico 2022 hails from the heart of the Chianti Classico subregion. The winery was established in 1990 by Neil and Maria Empson, representing a 'labour of love' born from their long-standing passion for the Tuscan landscape. Under the guidance of star oenologist Franco Bernabei, the winemaking philosophy focuses on sourcing fruit from a cross-section of the region's finest vineyards to create wines that capture the authentic spirit of Tuscany.

Wine Description

This wine presents a brilliant ruby colour and opens with an elegant bouquet featuring notes of violets, iris, and vibrant berry fruit. On the palate, it is supple and well balanced, showing a medium body with flavors of tart cranberries, rose hips, and tangerine peel, complemented by savory undertones of thyme and dried meats. The structure is defined by fine grained tannins and a refreshing acidity that leads into a clean, harmonious finish.
