Product description

The Trediberri Barbera d'Alba is produced in the Piedmont region of Italy, specifically sourced from vineyards in the Roero and the Torriglione hamlet near La Morra. Established in 2007 by Federico Oberto, his son Nicola, and Vladimiro Rambaldi, the winery began with five hectares in the Berri Cru. The estate operates with a philosophy of 'upstart' energy, focusing on creating wines that are 'bare and raw', prioritizing fruit expression and drinkability over traditional oak influence.

Wine Description

This 100% Barbera presents a lively purple-red hue with a slightly brightening rim. The nose is bright and inviting, offering intense aromas of ripe black cherry, plum, and redcurrants, complemented by floral hints of violet and subtle savory spices. On the palate, the wine is medium bodied and incredibly energetic, featuring a rush of mouthwatering acidity that balances rich dark fruit flavors of strawberry and blackcurrant. The texture is defined by velvety tannins and a clean, fresh, and persistent finish.
