Product description

Trolley 5 Restaurant & Brewery is located in the heart of Calgary, Alberta, along the iconic 17th Avenue Southwest. Co-founded by born-and-raised Calgarians PJ L'Heureux and Ernie Tsu, the brewery opened in June 2016 at the site formerly occupied by the well-known Melrose Café and Bar. Named after the historic No. 5 Trolley line that once serviced the Beltline neighbourhood, the establishment focuses on bringing the community together through craft beer and global comfort food.

Description

Hattori Hanzo is a Japanese Green Tea Lager with an alcohol by volume (ABV) of 4.8% and a bitterness rating of 17 IBU. Inspired by Japanese mastery, this beer is a blend of rice lager and Japanese green tea that has been lagered for 120 days. It presents a pale straw colour with a hazy appearance and a light body. The sensory profile features biscuity and earthy aromas with distinct hints of green tea, leading to a crisp, refreshing palate that is 'as sharp as Hanzo's blade'. It is crafted to be light and endlessly drinkable.
