
Ultraviolet Cabernet Sauvignon 2019
UV wines are made by Samantha Sheehan, who has been featured in multiple national publications including "15 Women to Watch in Wine" in Food and Wine Magazine. This wine is made from organically grown grapes. 95% of the blend is Cabernet Sauvignon from vineyards that lie at 1500-2000 feet elevation in the Red Hills AVA, just east of St. Helena. 5% Cabernet Franc from the Coombsville AVA rounds it out. John Gilman from View From the Cellar called the 2018 vintage "an insanely good value" and a "a flat out steal!".
Blackberry compote with hints of blueberry, a chewy mouthfeel with an earthiness familiar of an old world Bordeaux. Hints of tobacco and leather with bright acidity and soft lasting tannins.
