This vibrant, small-batch cider originates from Canada, specifically Calgary, Alberta. Uncommon Cider Co. is Western Canada's first urban cidery, established in 2016 by founder Brodie Thomas. The cidery's philosophy combines a love for traditional, full-juice English-style cider with a passion for pushing boundaries through experimentation and active community involvement, such as their local fruit collection initiatives.

The Ginger Cider is crafted by blending fresh-pressed ginger with the cidery's wild cider base. It displays a lively, clear appearance with an inviting aroma of fresh ginger. On the palate, the cider is off-dry with a balanced sweetness that gives way to a classic, fiery ginger kick. Stylistically, it is described as crushable and vibrant, reminiscent of a citrus-rimmed Moscow mule. The alcohol by volume (ABV) is 5.2 per cent. Like all Uncommon ciders, it is made from 100 per cent pressed fruit juice without the use of concentrates or added sweeteners. This cider is naturally gluten-free.
