From Spain’s Bierzo region in northwestern Castilla y León, this white wine comes from the hands of José Antonio García, a winemaker dedicated to reviving old vineyards in his home village of Valtuille de Abajo. His ‘Unculin’ range reflects both heritage and modern precision, with a focus on organic practices and minimal intervention to highlight terroir expression.
Wine Description
In the glass, it shows a pale straw hue. The nose offers white flowers, citrus zest, and stone fruit, with subtle balsamic and herbal undertones. The palate is fresh and mineral, showing good weight and texture balanced by saline lift and a long, dry finish. Stylistically, it combines roundness with a taut, almost austere character that reflects the Bierzo terroir.
