Veramonte Pinot Noir 2023

Veramonte Pinot Noir originates from the Casablanca Valley in Chile. Founded in the 1990s by Chilean wine pioneer Agustín Huneeus, Veramonte was the first winery to invest significantly in the Casablanca Valley, a region now famed for its cool climate viticulture. Today, the estate is owned by the González Byass Group and is dedicated to organic and sustainable winemaking, focusing on producing authentic wines that reflect their unique terroir.

Wine Description

This medium bodied red wine displays a deep cherry hue and expressive aromas of raspberry, red cherry, and strawberry, often accented by notes of mushroom, spice, and dried herbs. The palate is delicate and smooth, featuring a silky texture, balanced tannins, and fresh acidity that leads into a vibrant finish with hints of firm minerality. Composed of 100% Pinot Noir, the wine typically undergoes aging for eight to ten months in French and neutral oak barrels to enhance its complexity while maintaining its fresh fruit character. This wine is certified organic and is best enjoyed within four years of the vintage date.
