Originating from Italy in the Veneto region, specifically within the delle Venezie IGT appellation, Villa Teresa Organic Chardonnay represents a fresh, eco-conscious, and vibrant expression of Northern Italian white winemaking. Produced by the historic Dinami family estate of Vintners Dinami / Fratelli Di Maria, the Villa Teresa range has been a pioneer in certified organic and vegan viticulture in northeastern Italy since the late 1980s. Sourced from organically farmed estate vineyards situated across the flat alluvial plains and gentle rolling hills of Venetia, the vines grow on mineral-rich limestone, clay, and gravel soils. The winemaking philosophy focuses on environmental sustainability and purity of fruit, utilizing gentle pneumatic pressing and temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel vats to preserve bright fruit aromatics, crisp natural acidity, and clean varietal balance without oak influence.

Wine Description

The wine presents a clear, luminous pale straw yellow colour with bright greenish-gold reflections along the rim. An expressive, highly fragrant bouquet opens with inviting aromas of crisp green apple, ripe yellow pear, white peach, and lemon zest, interwoven with subtle notes of white spring blossoms, acacia, and a touch of crushed limestone. On the palate, it is light-to-medium bodied, crisp, and refreshing, delivering delicious flavours of orchard fruit, citrus curd, and saline mineral earth, all supported by a bright, mouthwatering spine of natural acidity. Framed by a smooth, clean texture and a supple mid-palate structure, it concludes with a lively, persistent finish marked by lingering lemon peel, fresh apple, and a crisp mineral lift. Composed of 100% Chardonnay, it offers an approachable, unvarnished profile with immediate drinking appeal.
