Produced in Argentina, this exceptional Malbec hails from the Agrelo district within the Luján de Cuyo region of Mendoza. Viña Cobos was founded in 1999 by visionary American winemaker Paul Hobbs, who is widely credited with elevating Argentine Malbec to the international stage. The winery’s philosophy centers on a meticulous, 'Grand Cru' study of specific parcels to capture the purest expression of the terroir.

This wine presents a deep ruby red colour with distinct violet tones. The aromatic profile is captivating and elegant, featuring a blend of red fruits, plum, and violets underscored by sophisticated notes of graphite, dark chocolate, and spearmint. On the palate, the wine is opulent and full bodied, offering a juicy mouthfeel with layers of blueberries and blackcurrants supported by silky, well polished tannins.
