Product description
From Spain’s Ribera del Duero region, Viña Fuentenarro is crafted by a family-owned winery in La Horra, Burgos. The García family has managed the estate for generations, cultivating Tempranillo vines with a commitment to natural methods, avoiding chemical fertilisers and herbicides. Their philosophy centres on expressing the character of the land and the purity of the varietal through careful, minimal intervention winemaking.
Wine Description
It shows a deep cherry red colour with violet hues, brilliant and lively in the glass. On the nose, it offers intense aromas of red and black fruits such as blueberry, plum, and redcurrant, layered with notes of vanilla, roasted coffee, and subtle truffle. The palate is generous and enveloping, with ripe fruit flavours, smooth integrated tannins, and balanced acidity. Its body is medium, with a long, persistent finish marked by freshness and elegance.
Food Pairing
This wine pairs beautifully with grilled red meats, roasted lamb, hearty stews, and semi-cured cheeses. The fruit-driven profile and gentle oak influence make it versatile at the table.
