Product description

Viñedo Chadwick is located in Chile, within the Maipo Valley and the specific subregion of Alto Maipo. Founded by Eduardo Chadwick to honour his father, Alfonso Chadwick Errázuriz, the winery occupies a historic family polo field in Puente Alto that was converted into a vineyard in 1992. Winemaker Francisco Baettig guides the estate with a philosophy focused on capturing the pure, nuanced expression of their exceptional terroir through a commitment to precision, tension, and organic conversion.

Wine Description

The wine exhibits a deep dark ruby color with vibrant purple reflections at the edge. On the nose, it delivers an endlessly fascinating, complex aromatic profile of cassis, black cherry, and red berries layered with crushed roses, graphite, mocha, and a hint of cigar box. The full bodied palate is super concentrated yet remarkably fresh, showing a silky, velvety texture balanced by an iron fist of fine grained, chalky tannins and refreshing acidity. This red blend possesses exceptional balance, complexity, and a lingering, mineral salty finish.
