Product description

Volpe Pasini is one of Friuli Venezia Giulia's most significant traditional wineries, with records of a Volpe estate dating back to 1596. The estate, which includes the magnificent 'Villa Rosa' building, is currently owned by Emilio Rotolo. Volpe Pasini’s philosophy is to maintain the varietal typicity of its indigenous grapes while adding sophistication through modern winemaking. The 'Ribolla Gialla' grape is a point of pride for the company and has been grown in the estate's 'Mura’s Garden' vineyard since the 1800s.

Wine Description

Made from 100% 'Ribolla Gialla', an indigenous white grape with naturally high acidity, this wine is typically straw yellow with pale green reflections. The aromatic profile is noted for great scents of fruit and delicate floral notes. Tasting notes specifically mention 'sliced lemons', 'green melon', and hints of 'salt and stone' on the palate, which is medium to full bodied.

Food Pairing

It is excellent as an aperitif and is recommended with dishes featuring white fish, shellfish, and fried seafood.
