Product description
The Yoshido brewery was established in 1899 and is located at the foot of the historic Gassan castle ruins. The brewery is celebrated for its use of ultra soft water, which is sourced from the mountains of the Chugoku region and contributes to the signature 'super soft' mouthfeel of their sake.
Description
This sake is characterized by a bright, clear appearance and an inviting aroma of fresh green apple and white flowers. On the palate, it is exceptionally smooth and medium bodied, offering a delicate balance of gentle sweetness and subtle umami. The finish is remarkably clean and crisp, showcasing the purity of the local spring water used in the brewing process. It has an alcohol content of 15%.
Food Pairing
The soft texture and clean profile of this Tokubetsu Junmai make it an ideal companion for a variety of seafood dishes. It pairs beautifully with fresh oysters, sashimi, or grilled trout seasoned with lemon. For a more savoury pairing, it also complements vegetable tempura or a mild chicken hot pot. Its versatility allows it to be enjoyed chilled or at room temperature.
