The Bordeaux Futures system requires customers to pay upfront for wines that will not be delivered for 18 to 24 months. In a time of global economic uncertainty, fluctuating demand, and evolving customer expectations, we believe it is more prudent to offer wines when they are available for immediate enjoyment or secured delivery.

2.⁠ ⁠Price vs. Value Concerns

The 2024 vintage in Bordeaux faced numerous challenges in terms of quality, with difficult growing conditions impacting consistency across the region. While production volumes were lower than usual, we anticipate that there will be sufficient stock available upon release, reducing the urgency to commit early through the Futures system.

3.⁠ ⁠Focus on In-Stock Bordeaux and Other Fine Wines

Rather than tie up resources in futures, we are prioritizing high-quality, in-stock Bordeaux selections and rare releases from other prestigious regions. This allows us to offer a more reliable and immediate experience without compromising on quality
