Wine Description

The wine presents an intense, deep dark garnet purple colour with brilliant crimson highlights along the rim. An exquisite, highly complex bouquet opens with noble aromas of crushed cassis, wild blackberry, black plum, and dark cherry, interwoven with intoxicating notes of fresh violet petals, dried rose, graphite, cedarwood, pipe tobacco, and subtle toasted French oak spice. On the palate, it is full bodied yet extraordinarily weightless, delivering concentrated flavours of black currant, dark stone fruit, and mineral crushed stone, all anchored by a vibrant, mouthwatering core of natural acidity. Framed by ultra-fine, seamless Premier Grand Cru Classé tannins that coat the palate like silk, it concludes with an exceptionally long, persistent finish marked by lingering dark berry fruit, sweet floral nuances, and a refined mineral grip. Composed predominantly of Cabernet Sauvignon blended with small proportions of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot, this 2023 release offers an optimal drinking window of 2033–2065+.
