The wine presents an opaque, deep dark garnet red colour with vibrant ruby reflections along the rim. An expressive, highly complex bouquet opens with noble aromas of cassis, black cherry preserves, dark plum compote, and wild blackberry, interwoven with iconic notes of toasted American oak, vanilla bean, coconut, freshly ground coffee, dill spice, and cigar box cedar. On the palate, it is full bodied, velvety, and expansive, delivering concentrated flavours of dark berries, cocoa powder, and savory mineral earth, all supported by a bright, mouthwatering spine of natural acidity. Framed by rich, fine-grained tannins and a supple, coat-the-mouth mid-palate structure, it concludes with an extraordinarily long, persistent finish marked by lingering black fruits, sweet spice, and a clean gravelly grip.
